Dental Health Education Program

At Valeriano Orthodontics, we are passionate about teaching kids the importance of good dental health during a dental health education visit! Great dental health goes hand in hand with successful orthodontic treatment, and Dr. Valeriano believes that teaching kids of all ages about how to care for their teeth will set them up for a lifetime of great oral health.

During childhood and adolescence, oral health behaviors develop, along with beliefs and attitudes. Children and adolescents are receptive to new information, and the earlier healthy oral habits are established, the greater their impact. A dental health visit is a fantastic way to set them on the path to great oral health for a lifetime.

Our expert team also enjoys going out into our community and spreading the word about dental care. Our focus has always been ensuring every patient has a great experience and we believe that teaching children about great oral health starts young. We make our dental education program visit age appropriate for any group that is visiting. By using models of the mouth and hands-on activities, we strive to leave a lasting impression about the proper way to brush and floss as well as why it is important to avoid sugary foods and drinks.

We love visiting schools, but also invite troops and classes to come visit us at the office! Not only can your troop learn about dental health, they can also earn a badge for completing a dental education visit at Valeriano Orthodontics.
